No legal walls. No deliberately confusing language. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. If something's still unclear, email us.

The short version
When you create an account, we ask for your name and email address. Your password is hashed using bcrypt — we never see or store the actual password.
While you use SokaLive, we automatically log things like which pages you view, your device type, browser, and IP address. This is standard for any web platform — it helps us fix bugs and understand what people actually use.
If you subscribe to VIP, payment processing happens entirely with our payment partner. We don't touch your card number. We just get told "payment successful" and update your account.
If you contact us, we keep your message and email so we can reply. Nothing else.
- Keep you logged in and your preferences saved
- Process and manage your VIP subscription
- Send you emails related to your account — password resets, subscription receipts, that kind of thing
- Detect if someone's trying to abuse the platform (bots, spam, repeated failed logins)
- Understand which features are working well and which aren't
- Show advertisements via Google AdSense (explained in the next section)
We do not send marketing emails unless you've opted in. We don't share your data with data brokers. We don't build profiles to sell.
We use two types of cookies on SokaLive:
Essential cookies — these keep you logged in and remember your dark/light mode preference. The site won't work properly without them.
Advertising cookies — SokaLive displays ads from Google AdSense. Google uses the DART cookie to show you ads based on your interests and previous browsing. This helps keep SokaLive free for everyone.

You can also block all cookies in your browser settings, but parts of SokaLive (like staying logged in) won't work if you do.
To make SokaLive work, we rely on a few trusted services. Here's who they are and why:
- Ads Google AdSense — displays ads and may set cookies as described in Section 3
- Pay Payment processors — handle VIP subscription payments. They're PCI-compliant and we don't store card data.
- Mail Email delivery — to send your account emails. They never use your email for their own marketing.
- Data Football data providers — for live scores and match data. They don't receive your personal information.
None of these partners are allowed to use your data for anything beyond what's described here.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days.
We're required by law to keep payment records for a few years (for tax purposes). That data stays locked down and is never used for anything else.
General usage logs are retained for up to 12 months, after which they're only kept in aggregate (not linked to your account).
We take security seriously. A few things we do:
- All traffic runs over HTTPS — nothing you send us travels in plain text
- Passwords are bcrypt hashed — not encrypted, actually hashed (one-way)
- Rate limiting on login attempts to slow down brute-force attacks
- Server-level firewall with automated intrusion detection
No system is perfectly secure. If something happened that affected your data, we'd tell you within 72 hours of finding out. That's a promise, not just a legal checkbox.
You can ask us to:

SokaLive is for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you think a child has registered on our platform, email us and we'll remove the account right away.
If we change anything significant in this policy, we'll email registered users and update the date at the top. Minor wording changes that don't affect your rights won't trigger a notification — but the date will always show when we last touched it.
