Guinea head coach Pauli Duarte faces mounting pressure to demonstrate greater decisiveness in his tactical choices and squad selections ahead of upcoming international fixtures against Bafana Bafana and Kenya. The experienced tactician must quickly establish a clearer identity and stronger squad harmony within the Syli National setup as international competition intensifies across the continent.
International management in African football leaves little margin for error, particularly in closely contested qualifying groups where tactical rigidity or hesitant substitutions are routinely punished by well-prepared opponents. Duarte must navigate these upcoming fixtures under heavy scrutiny, with supporters and administrators alike demanding a sharper tactical edge and more proactive decision-making from the technical area.
How Duarte handles his selection dilemmas against Bafana Bafana and Kenya will likely define the immediate trajectory of his tenure at the helm of Guinea. Tactical flexibility and brave personnel choices are non-negotiable requirements if the squad intends to convert potential into positive results on the pitch.
